History: The Department of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the language, literature, history, and culture of Syriac Christianity in the Late Antiquity. The position is to begin September 1, 2008. Rank: Assistant Professor. Ph.D. required. The ability to teach one or two other languages of Near Eastern Christianity is desirable.
