Nimrod’s bio begins in the 23rd century B.C.E. with King Sargon of Akkad and his grandson Naram-Sin.Some connection between Nimrod and Sargon/the Agade dynasty has always sounded plausible to me. This is the first time I recall someone laying out the case in detail.
