At a Meeting of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on March 3, 2020, the following tribute to the life and service of the late Lawrence Elwood Stager was placed upon the permanent records of the Faculty.Professor Stager, who was one of my teachers in my doctoral program in the 1980s, died in December 2017.
