The Excavations of the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology (GPIA) on Mount Zion in Jerusalem (2015 and 2023)During our excavations, several city walls were identified on Mount Zion and their stratigraphic classification was investigated. The chronological determination was supplemented by numerous 14C and OSL analyses.
