This is a guide for reading ethnographic passages on this website from Philo of Alexandria (early first century CE): ...The purpose of the Ethnic Relations and Migration in the Ancient World Blog, run by Philip Harland, Maia Kotrosits, and collaborators, "is to collect, organize, and make public resources for the reconstruction of ethnic relations and ethnographic culture in the ancient Mediterranean and near eastern worlds (fifth century BCE-sixth century CE)."
