Archaeologist Eilat Mazar is born. Mazar is a third generation Israeli archaeologist and is most well known for her work at the City of David site in Jerusalem. She is a professor of archaeology at Hebrew University.This brief article seems to be recycled from 2014, but never mind. I hope Professor Mazar had a good birthday in 2018.
