ALLEGATIONS: Police Officer Tied to Illegal West Bank Antiquities Thefts Also Visited Area B Cave. Meir Rotter, head of the police's ultra-Orthodox unit, entered a cave in a Palestinian Authority-administered area with soldiers, lacking authorization, months after he was accused of unlawfully seizing an ancient artifact elsewhere in the West Bank (Nir Hasson, Haaretz).
