Excavators digging at the ancient site of Nuraghe Ruinas of Arzana on the Italian island of Sardinia have found a Phoenician-type scarab seal, the Superintendency of Archaeology for the Sassari and Nuoro provinces in Sardinia announced on February 3. This discovery further confirms the presence of the Phoenicians on the island during the Iron Age (c. 950-500 b.c.e.).I have already noted the discovery here.
